Global Cuisine 

Course objectives:

Global Cuisine is typically a 5 day course but this can be adjusted to your culinary staff and facility’s needs.

Day 1: Explore Asia

Day 2: Explore the Mediterranean

Day 3: Explore Italy

Day 4: Explore Mexico

Day 5: Explore global "Street Foods"

  • Define “street foods” and list the six main categories 
  • Describe a variety of street foods from the Americas, Europe, the Mediterranean and Asia.


Course description:

Discover the unique flavors and tastes from around the World.  In Global Cuisine you will explore the traditional foods and flavors of Asia, Mediterranean, Italy, Mexico, and street cuisine. Identify the differing cooking methods, equipment, ingredients and influences from cultures across the globe. Expand your knowledge base and take home some great new recipes to add to your collection.
