This is one of the best birthday presents I have ever received. Jud takes the time to explain not only technique, but why the technique matters. Each lesson comes with a copy of the recipes used in a notebook binder for you to use at home. If you want to step up your game as a home cook, this is the guy to teach you how to do it.

On Site Catering is the best-kept secret in Blacksburg. We have used this business for three types of events (group dinner for 30, reception for 7, sit-down dinner for 8) and each one has delighted our guests. For each event, I gave Chef Jud a general idea of what we wanted, and he provided menu suggestions (by email or phone) and we easily worked out a plan. For a recent birthday dinner, we decided on a 3-course meal plus charcuterie tray. He prepared a detailed menu so that I could choose wines (Vintage Cellar). Each entrée was beautifully presented with generous portions, and was fantastic to eat. Our guests commented the food and presentation were on par with great places in Chicago or D.C. Chef Jud and his assistants brought all of the ingredients, prepared everything fresh in our kitchen, presented each course with the wines, and cleaned up the kitchen when finished. If you want to host a lovely event in your home without work and stress, I strongly recommend On Site Catering!
